How Many Consultations Are Required Before Plastic Surgery?

Your pre-operative consultations are necessary to allow the plastic surgeon to evaluate the patient and their right to the procedure. But how many times do you need to see a plastic surgeon before planning your intervention? It depends on the case, but in general, counseling is sufficient before planning the procedure. During the initial consultation, Dr. Hourglass conducts a medical examination and checks areas that need to be improved or corrected by intervention, in addition to discussing the details of the procedure. An additional meeting may be required to discuss other aspects that were not covered during the initial consultation, or the patients had more questions. One or two preoperative consultations should be sufficient so that the plastic surgeon and patients can form an opinion on the optimal treatment plan.
